I have the same problem. I think it is unique to the AGP card. From what I've read, those with PCI cards running D3D version do not experience this. >2. If you crash into a ghost car, the game crashes Haven't had that happen. >3. I have a pII 266 and get the same thing. For the 3dfx crowd, they seem to only have the problem for the first lap. The D3D crowd seem to face it off and on for the duration of the race. Ubi admits that the D3D version needs work and that they haven't even tested the game on a AGP setup. All things considered, its still a great sim. Lets hope subsequent patches address these things.

I can confirm that they don't happen in the 3dfx version... (at least on my machine <g>) Cheers, Richard

Well I have none of those problems, but I am using a 3Dfx card and the D3D install. (I have the porked***pit view with the 3Dfx version of the game, so am forced to use the D3D version) With the latest patch, I am now able to use the mirrors. Before they were just white, no problems with ghost car, or the steering. Andy Andy Please use address below for all email replies

Almost sounds like what my system (3dfx PPro200) did until I replaced the steering pot. Sure it isn't spikes in the steering device ? Does this happen when watching another computer car also?

I thought the same about my 3dfx too, until I loaded a SAVEGAME I had for Barcelona. A few times the sky was black. I thought that only happened on non 3dfx cards. But I can tell you it happened on my monster 3D. Also when I would get a blue sky, I got no clouds or sun. So these problems are not card specific, but SAVE/LOAD specific apparently. -- Header address intentionally scrambled to ward off the spamming hordes.
