Hi,
I've read some people complaining about this situation:
In a race, any race, you crash and loose control of your car. The Abandon
menu appears with 2 choices:
Camera view
Show race result
For the fast return choose camera view, press ESC and presto:
choice number 2: Restart.
No need to drop back to the entry menu, choose track, load setup and then
into the car. I found out after several crashes in Monza's first chicanes.
I hope this is of help to all other frustrated F1 RS owners.
