Who would want it. I have a copy that I'll never put on my system again. It's a peice of shit. I've seen it in two different shops at the weekend (*** and PC World, not cheap discount stores) in a double-pack with GP Manager. Hell, they're still *** GP1 on discount label too. It's true. For Microprose (or whoever owns them these days) to continue selling GP2 they need to renew their license with the Formula One Administration. They chose not to do so and now cant sell GP2 anymore. Those copy's you see in the stores wont be replaced once they are gone. Tony

I'm also wondering about the rumor regarding GP2's sale. I was worried since I'd ordered a copy from MicroProse's site on Jan 8, but hadn't recieved it last week and they said they were out of stock but would mail it when it came back in.. When I got home yesterday, it was waiting on my doorstep. Needless to say, the rest of the afternoon plans were thrown in the trash. :-D HTH, Myron

I think this stuff about pulling a product from the shelves is nonsense. I am no legal expert, but MPS would have been damn silly to sign a contract that limits the time they may legally sell something. and for what its worth, the CompUSA here in town has plenty of GP2's on the shelf for $29.95 (us$) Egghead too.
