Hi, I read on Ubisoft's email message that they recommended changing the WAVX2 entry in the cpa.ini file to WAVPW. Can someone enlighten on what is being accomplished by doing this? Stanley
Sorry, but they didn't "recommend" it. Ubi simply stated that it was a suggestion that they saw posted somewhere. It provides some slight inprovement in the start/first corner slowdown effect. If you use it, and you have already adjusted the SATUR and FADE lines to 1 and 15, you *may* notice that ALL sounds cut now and again. Only by trialling each adjustment you make will you arrive at the setting that's right for you. -- Bruce. (At home)
