Is this any good ? It comes bundled with the TM GP1 in the UK at the moment, and I wonderred if I could replace GP2 with it. Thanks. John -- John Hartridge | FUJIFILM Electonic Imaging Ltd, ext 3282 | Three Cherry Trees Lane,
John Hartridge heeft geschreven in bericht No. Power F-1 is a big joke, like Psygnosis Formula-1. It is NOT a sim like GP-2. Keep GP-2 or better yet, get F-1 Racing Simulation. It's the best. "On 5 August 1944 in the vicinity of St. Sever Calvados, France, witnessed a German Mark V Panther tank knock out three M4 and three M5 tanks during and after being hit by at least fif*** rounds of 75mm APC from a distance of approximately 700 yards. All of these shells had ricochetted, with the exception of a six***th round which finally put the Mark V Panther out of action." Sgt. Thomas P. John, The other post is certainly correct, Power F1 stinks. The only sim that takes on GP2 is F1RS, and it is super for a first effort. That said, those bundles may still be a good deal. My GP1 came bundled with NFSSE, which I don't play but I sure love the wheel. If the price is reasonable, pick it up for the excellent wheel. Some in the group will bash the GP1 as an entry level wheel, don't let 'em fool you. I have worn out a T2 and actually prefer the GP1 as with the wheel mounted paddles there is nothing under your feet. I think this setup is often preferable for someone whos computer desk is not a dedicated *** station. I love mine, there's my two cents, or New Penny's in your case <ggg.> All the best, Mike Davis -- Michael S. Picked the wheel up yesterday - it was 39.99 (unusually good value for the UK, it was 79.99 last summer !) and comes bundled with Power F1, Network Q Rally Challenge and the X-Miles add-on. After a quick test I was reasonably impressed with the Rally game, but strangely couldn't get the wheel to work with Power F1, but as everyone has said it is ***anyway I pobably won't persue it any further. It certainly works great with GP2 which is what I really wanted to use it with. I'm very impressed at the solid feel of it compared to the feel of the wheels available for the consoles. It certainly feels as though it will help bring those lap times down - I've only had digital accelerator and brake up until now, but now I can actually feather the throttle round corners - not scream in, lock up the breaks, turn in, hope I release the brake at the right time, then light up the tyres away again hoping I don't spin out ! Hope you don't min me asking, but where did you get it for 39.99. I've only seen it for 59.99. Many thanks Andrew

I've had several queries for this so - I got the TM GP1 at Byte (in Watford). It was 49.99 reduced to 39.99 in their post - Xmas sale. John -- John Hartridge | FUJIFILM Electonic Imaging Ltd, ext 3282 | Three Cherry Trees Lane,
