Directx5 and Diamond Monster 3d.

>But i was wondering after installing the card I was told to install >Directx5 again and it advises my to keep my exsisting Diamond >drivers, should I overwrite the with directx5 or not? it also says >the same about my soundblaster 16 drivers will I overwrite?. I'd read here earlier that if you install DirectX5 with a 3DFX card, you should only install the core driver, not the sound or video drivers. Apparently if you do install the lot, it overwrites your Diamond drivers and stops you reinstalling them (or at least causes problems trying to reinstall them). Some have said they aren't going to install DX5 but stick with DX3. Sorry I can't help with the finer details. -- To reply, remove nosmeg from e-mail address.
