TOCA: How do I select manual gear shifting?

I've been tanking around the TOCA tracks for a while now, but I've yet to find the option that enables/disables auto gear shifting. It's bl00dy annoying to have it ask which buttons I want to use for shifting, and then to find it doing it itself! I think it is where you select your car.
