STB Velocity 128 AGP with PII 233 for sims?

I am considering buying a new system that has a PII 233 and a STB Velocity 128 4mb SGRAM AGP video card. How will this combination work for games like Nascar and NFS as well as new flight sims? Jim

Hi Jim, I recently got a Dell PII 266 with the 128 AGP card you mentioned. I run N2 w full graphics, full field, full sound the whole shooting match without a hitch. The only drawback I 've seen is when it comes to the rendition/3d games. I have an STB Velocity card and it doesn't do rendition at all. Other than that I love my system. If it's dell your talking about go for the Altec 495 surround sound speakers too. They're great! IMHO. Good luck on your quest.. Fast laps in '98!! R. Faust aka Xducer
