I would like to know if there is any way to get around having the CD in when I want to modem play against my friends. I have started a lot of games just to find out I have to restart because I don't have the CD in. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance Ed
Do a full install. You will not need the N2 cd after that. -- Mike (TEN ID:mpete) -- Mike's Nascar World http://www.mnworld.com Stop on by, what can it hurt? (remove nospam to reply)

You need the fakecd utility. (I have no idea where it is myself. :( ) Use it to fake your Nascar2 directory (full install I presume) as the drive that is usually your CD. Won't work in Win95 BTW. Then you need to re-label your hard-disk to that of the N2 CD label. I would guess that is "NASCAR2"? Can't remember off-hand... Doing that is easy enough under My Computer or in Dos using LABEL. Pretty tough, I have only forgotten to slip the CD in once, and the above is really a hassle if you have the CD. Thanks, Jon Guest :-) http://www.mercury.force9.co.uk/nascar2/ "Although this world is a crazy ride, You just take your seat and just hold on tight"
