TOCA damage model anyone ??

2 posts by 2 people · 28 Dec 1997 - 28 Dec 1997

Does anyone know of the damagemodel TOCA uses (if any!) I have seen smashed windows, torn bumpers, torn off hoods. Those are pretty heavily built machines !! :-) If only my Carina was as sturdy ! Would be nice if you could switch between this "no-damage" and an option with more realistic damage. But I can not feel much of a difference to the driving model. Is there any ? (here I should note that so far I have only logged about 2 hours worth of driving time (with the Honda and the Audi), so I am not totally familliar with the driving models yet. And while were at it ... what about tirewear ? My Honda are really eating those tires under braking, but even during long races (at Donington GP) I can't seem to find any loss in grip !? Is tirewear modelled ? Regards ___________________________________ Remove the obvious to mail me.
The Codemasters have announced a patch very soon! It will add more optios. So I guess it will have things like camera views, replays, etc, etc. Bart
