Sorry this took so long to finish - just way too many other things
requiring my attention.
The CART97 for ICR2 update, with graphics revised through fontana, is

As far as a CART97 version for MS-CART (which is a far more appropriate
acronym than the vague and confusing CPR), I have been working on most of
the cars. Any finished set will not be released until proper driver/team
editing becomes possible and Rover can be properly included.
At this point, besides not being able to change names outside of
drivers.txt or alter the *.bmp files in the driver selection menu, the
main problems are as follows:
1) The incompatability of *.tga files from one car to another, given
the differing location/size of the assorted car parts.
2) Although a "left" and "right" side engine cowling appears in
penske*.tga, only one appears (mirrored) in the sim, thus the proper
Marlboro red cannot be properly replicated.
3) Tops of sidepods can be as few as three pixels wide, which makes
fixing de Ferran's car impossible.
4) I have not figured out a way to alter palettes, so Franchitti's
gray/black car cannot be converted to the correct dk. blue.
5) No helmet editing.
Stay tuned...
Earl
