I saw the following post on The APEX [link lost in import] message

"The version that worked for me was the 2.1 driver. The file is dated
7/21/97. The last time I looked, you could still get it at Sierra's website.
If you install the latest DirectX5 drivers, they'll replace the Sierra
driver with a generic Rendition driver. You'll have to go back and
re-install the Sierra driver. Even though Sierra's driver is not certified
by Microsoft for DirectX5, it seems to work fine."
So if you have the Screamin 3D card and CART Precision Racing you might want
to try re-installing the Sierra drivers version number 2.1 dated 7/21/97. I
