Does anyone use the AMD K6-233 cpu? I'm interested in getting one, but need it to run GP2, F1RS, ICR2 etc. Plan to run this with an Orchid Righteous 3D card. Please let me know how it runs, if you have one, Many thanks, Keith Windsor

I have an AMD K6-200 for some time now and run GP2 as well as ICR2 and N2 with "everything on". Never had any complains about it. I have the Monster 3d but don't expect it to give you any advantage with these games, 'cause they don't use it...

I haven't got a 3d card (yet), but GP2 and ICR2 (amongst others), run fine. I did have a little trouble with it after I first installed the chip, but that was because it was set to the 200 voltages which are lower than the 233 voltages. It's been OK ever since. I've had no probs and would reccomend it. -- To reply, remove nosmeg from e-mail address.
I own an AMD K6-233, and I run with all graphics on in my sim games with no problems. I have sierra screwmin3d card. I don't think you will be dissappointed with it. I only play sim racing games, so I don't need the FPU for duke or quake. john
