This has happened to me a few times, and it seems to be some sort of error:
If you go to an instant replay when you happen be skidding, the replay will
start out for a solid few seconds with your car skidding. It's happened
several times where my friend and I would get in accidents (overshoot a
corner, etc..) then hit R for a replay of the wipeout immediately, and then
the replay will start off with the car going down a straight with smoke and
rubber being laid down! Doesn't really make sense.. I haven't tried to
duplicate it on purpose, but I've noticed it a few times.
Just thought maybe this is something that hasn't been noticed/addressed
yet..
Regardless.. the GTR demo is fantastic.. spent a solid hour hotlapping. The
graphics look GREAT on my new 9800 pro, and the framerate seems silky
smooth.
