Bad flicker in N2

A friend of mine just bought N2 and he asked me to set it up for him. I thought it would be no problem. BUT........ When I get into the race screen or even into the detail shop, it gets a really bad flicker. I thought I would check it during a practice session, and as soon as I enter practice it starts to flicker. Not the whole screen just in the windshield area. It's only the whole screen if I use arcade view. I tried the univbe driver, but it isn't compatible with his ATI card. I have a ATI card, but it works fine for me. I tried different drivers, setting up the monitor as a different type, and different refresh rates. Nothing worked. He has a Gateway 2000, 200MMX, 32MB RAM, ATI 3D RAGE II Video adapter, and 17" Gateway CrystalScan 700 Monitor. I figured with a system like that, it should run fine. I have no problems on my Packard Bell Pentium 100! Please help if you can, Blake NASCAR - Everything else is just a game Anti Spam address, Click on link above & remove "*" to reply
