Note APEX [link lost in import] maps ... http://www.silhouet.com/motorsport/tracks/tracks.html The CPR track editor is getting some last interface work now, but should be released in the next week (maybe two weeks depending on bug fixes). I am sure this track site will act as a great resource for all you guys planning to add/transform CART Precision Racing tracks. Anyone know where elevation data is generally available? We had to use GPS and $$$ sources - but I am sure there are free sources on the internet somewhere. We're working on the readme/FAQ now and it would be great to point people to resources for this data. Note that the car paintkit utility is already available at the APEX. Thanks again for your support - and be reassured of ours. Dean CPR Team - still on RAS!
Top site Dean I'm going to try to make the old Nuburgring. What a track ! -- Regards Glenn Beaumaris ------------------------------------------ "I believe in God-After All Helen Hunt Exists" =================================== The Quote of 1997: "The first thing you notice is her spirit and her talent, then her beauty hits you, and you're like, 'Well, excuse me, but she's gorgeous!' You don't even notice what she's wearing because her aura dominates. That's true style." >Note APEX http://cart.gamestats.com/ John has found a great site for track >maps ... >http://www.silhouet.com/motorsport/tracks/tracks.html >The CPR track editor is getting some last interface work now, but should be >released in the >next week (maybe two weeks depending on bug fixes). >I am sure this track site will act as a great resource for all you guys >planning to add/transform >CART Precision Racing tracks. >Anyone know where elevation data is generally available? >We had to use GPS and $$$ sources - but I am sure there are free sources on >the internet somewhere. >We're working on the readme/FAQ now and it would be great to point people to >resources >for this data. >Note that the car paintkit utility is already available at the APEX. >Thanks again for your support - and be reassured of ours. >Dean CPR Team - still on RAS! >>Allows you to create your own custom car textures. >>http://cart.gamestats.com/ >>Track editor to follow soon - just fixing some bugs. >>Patch beta should go out shortly. >>We're getting there ... thanks for your patience. >>. begin 666 Glenn Beaumaris.vcf M0D5'24XZ5D-!4D0-"E9%4E-)3TXZ,BXQ#0I..D)E875M87)I<SM';&5N;CM( M4CM(3TU%.T5.0T]$24Y'/5%53U1%1"U04DE.5$%"3$4Z.SL],$0],$$],$0] M"DQ!0D5,.TA/344[14Y#3T1)3D<]455/5$5$+5!224Y404),13H],$0],$$] M1#TP04%U<W1R86QI80T*14U!24P[4%)%1CM)3E1%4DY%5#IG;&5N;F]M0&US ` end end
Hi, I looked at the track as well, it would take a brave driver to run that track! I wonder if any driver has actually memorized it? Later, John

And wouldn't it be blast in an indycar ( sorry Champoin Car) of today with so much power and grip. That would be fun now scary back in the 60s
