F1RS: How well will it run on P200MMX with no 3DFX?

2 posts by 2 people · 29 Nov 1997 - 30 Nov 1997

Hi I'm thinking about getting F1RS soon, but I'm not sure how well it will run on my PC. The PC I hope to play F1RS on is a P200MMX, with 32mb RAM and a 2mb Matrox Mystique. I don't have a 3dfx card :-( , but until I can afford one, I don't mind lower quality graphics. I was wondering if anybody else out there had tried F1RS on a system like mine? Also, I have a P120 with 16mb RAM and a 2mb S3 graphics card. It is desperately in need of an upgrade but I wondered if F1RS would run at all, and how good(or bad) it would be? The reason I'm asking this is that the P200 is my parents' PC which they often use for work, so I don't get to use it as much as I'd like to. TIA, -- Richard North

You will need 4mb RAM on the Mystique to run F1RS Cheers John Cookson
