CPR - Win98 sound problems

2 posts by 2 people · 11 Nov 1997 - 11 Nov 1997

I may or may not have specific knowledge of a beta installation of Win98 (rumored to exist) running the CPR demo. If such a setup existed, what should one do if DirectSound in CPR starts complaining about lack of driver support immediately after installing Win98, and reverts back to the normal wav drivers? Turning off all sound to avoid the choppiness would not seem to be an attractive solution. (BTW: one might presuppose, probably correctly, that Win98 fixes my T1 gas/brake problems.) Michael.

Hmm. sounds like a fine question to ask the rumored to exist win98 team :) Eric (CART Team)
