Do you have "auto-arrange" swtiched on for your desktop icons? >What am I doing wrong here.... >I am running the demo for CPR, and it's working just fine... but when I exit >the game, my win 95 desktop is all screwed up (all icons that were on the >bottom are moved up, etc, like you'd expect if I changed the video driver to >640x480). Yep, mine does the same......when you exit CART it throws the screen display into 640 x 480......all my icons get shot to hell. This is a disgrace, considering this is an MS prog. Is anybody awake at CPR/MS ? I intend to dump the s/ware off my h/drive....thats if the 'uninstall option works! Nothing else seems to. Jammer (UK)

>Mine does it, too... Except, after about 5 seconds, it reverts >back to my 1024x768 desktop (icons still screwed up, though). Update: I downloaded the most recent drivers for my card from DiamondMM the other day, and ALL problems were fixed. I can run CART PR (Demo) now without messing up my desktop and my icons remain unaffected... Hmm... one might almost think those CART Team guys know what they're talking about... ;-) - Mike. ==================================================== Mike Holthouse - Indianapolis, IN I'm sick of spam!! "one might almost think those CART Team guys know what they're talking about... " Careful ... you nearly paid us a compliment! ; ) Glad it cleared up your problem - video drivers are a nightmare for game developers. XRaceTrak wrote in article

Well, I really *wanted* to, but I didn't want to be responsible if you were to suffer heart problems, so I had to disguise it... - Mike. ==================================================== Mike Holthouse - Indianapolis, IN I'm sick of spam!!
