After starting 30th at C***te, I had made my way up to the top 10 and
pitted with the leaders. We left the pit stalls at the same time and
though I was maintaining my speed (can't ignore the crew chief in your
ear) the leaders were pulling away from me on pit road extremely fast.
So, I tried to keep up with them and of course got black-flagged. I
went back and looked at the replay and isolated each of the cars, and
the leaders were going 80 mph down pit road!!!?? So, I started a new
race (shorter) and again pitted with the leaders, left ahead of them
this time and the 88 car spins me out in pit road because I was doing
the speed limit!
What gives here? How come the leaders can go faster down pit road?
