Here are a couple more items to look into:
If you get near the pits, like against the wall, it thinks you are
going into them, and attempts to pull you into the wall.
When in the pits, and the rev limiter is on, you can still be in 1st
gear, with your RPM's redlining, however your engine sounds like
normal. If you are going to have the system driving the car, why not
have it in an appropriate gear, so when you get out of the pits, it is
at a decent RPM speed.
Speaking of the pit autodriver... is it drunk? It seems to run into
the wall a lot for me, and can never drive straight, but kinda swerves
all over pit lane.
Do the rumble strips have to basically catapult you off the track if
you hit them at high speeds? They are just to let you know that you
are almost off the track, and not to make you airborne.
How come when you hit the wall, doing about 200, you seem to stop
almost instantly? I would imagine, that you would continue to slide
for quite a while before coming to a stop.
Is the stuttering at low speeds going to be corrected in the final
version?
I am sure that there will be many more comments and suggestions in the
upcoming weeks.
