>I heard Intergraph just released a new 3D card the "Intense 3D >Voodoo". >Can someone who knows about this card performance tell me if it is >better than the Diamond 3d Monster + a 2d card? No. The Intense is a 'Rush' based card, and hence slower than the standard voodoo. It's 2D isn't the best either. For the best 2D (in DOS) get a Et6000 based card. For good 2D in dos and very good 2D in windows get a mystique or even better, a millenium II. You _may_ be better getting a Canopus Pure 3D than the monster too. It all depends how much wonga you have. Dave

It all depends >how much wonga you have. If you already have a good 2D card, then buy a Monster (or equivalent) If you have a dud 2D card, buy the Intergraph. It's 30%slower than the Monster when using both alpa and Z buffering, but thats only a problem with games like Quake. Moto racer runs just as well with Rush as with the standard Voodoo graphics. And future games will support both Rush and Voodoo Graphics chipsets. Any Rush card wipes a Mystique, and the Millenium 2 is really for serious CAD users, not gamers.
