There is a slight bug in the new version of the Pitts Touring cars
for Nascar2. To race multiplayer on Kali or over the phone, you need
a carset called Multi. This was not included in the first releases.
With v1.3 however, there is a Multi carset listed. But it is
empty.. Choosing that carset from either the pre-race options screen
or the Driver Info screens causes the whole program to hang.
#Solution#
The quick fix is to manually delete the file
Multi.lst from your cars directory of Nascar2
(make sure this is your patched N2 and not
your Winston Cup flavor)
then go back to Driver Info from the main screen
choose create new list. Name it Multi and move over enough cars to
fill the list up to 39. You must have 39 cars (even if you only put 2
or 3 on the track) in the Multi carset for the network option to run
over Kali. If you haven't already, download some of the extra cars
from the Pits and add them to your Multi list...
The Touring cars are lighter and more nimble but hugely underpowered
compared to the big ol Winston Cup cars...You'll really enjoy dancing
around the inner loop at Watkins Glen now...
Have fun
