Hi Eric,
Your site is very interesting & there's lots of good stuff there. I was
interested to see that your Hungary setup has relatively low downforce
though. Out of interest I started doing some hotlapping at Hungary with
20/20 wings & got down to 1:14.059 (779BHP). In the race I ran, against
CCS which had their BHP & grip levels increased to "Ace+3", I qualified
with a 1:14.4 & won with a race time of 1hr 42mins 43s & a fastest lap of
1:17.7.
The point of this? F1 teams run maximum downforce at Hungary and seek
more speed by playing about with mechanical grip & driving lines. So why
not try & mimic the real setups more with your own? You don't have to use
low downforce to get quick times ;-)
