THis is probably stupid..but a while back, there was the game "Bill elliotts Nascar Challenge" That had Daytona..sure, the graphics our primative, but it WAS Daytona..how bout someone spending some time figuring out a way to convrt that? Once you get it converted, then twiddle with the graphics... just my stupid two cents.. Justin

I had that same thought once. Probably too hard to make, probably the format of BENC is too far primitive for what N1 and N2 are. I doubt anyone would WANT to spend the time doing it. That's my 2 cents... -- Remove the "NOSPAM" to reply. Andy Roberts http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/5314/

Wasn't that a Nintendo game? Nick Baltuch http://www.frii.com/~nickbal

It was made by Konami. It also came out in a PC MS-DOS version. I have a copy of it sitting in the closet. I raced it for a while on my old 386 while I waited until I could buy a Pentium in order to run NASCAR 2. It was a fun game, but Bill Elliott was just too tough. You could beat him at the short tracks and road courses, but he was a tough nut on the superspeedways (just like real life, huh?). You couldn't wreck him, either. You'd bounce off him and crash, while he'd motor happily away. I never once saw him have a mechanical failure (bet the real-life Bill wishes that was the case during this year's WC season). The graphics were pretty sparse (incl only 10 or so AI cars). - Kim.

Bill Elliot's NASCAR Challenge had Daytona but the game itself stunk it up pretty bad.

I don't know about Nintendo, but I have the Amiga version. I thought it was a great simulation at the time. Of course, that was before Papyrus and NASCAR. Kelvin www.nashville.com/~james.hayes/kel.htm
