N2 - network play?

Just got N2 and want to try the network play mode here at work. My question: We run a small (8 user) peer to peer network using Win NT 4.0 which obviously won't run N2. So I created DOS boot disks to load the appropriate sound card and CD-Rom drivers and run the game. This works just fine. Searching the manual and the various internet sites I'm finding little on how to setup a multiplayer network game. I've added the IPX drivers for the network cards to my boot disks but I can't seem to connect my 2 testing computers together. Do I actually have to have a Novell server attached? Can this even work through DOS or is this a Win95 thing only? Any help is appreciated. Please respond through e-mail since my connection to this newsgroup is unreliable. Thanks, Garret
