GP2 requires cd and drives me crazy

HI ALL, GP2 requires me to put the CD in each time. Anyway to bypass this? I ran NasCar1 fine with no Disc, and NAscar2 also is ok (even though i have to do a few Igores and Aborts), but gp2 just won't budge! ps. spare me the usual 'buy the game' flames. I *have* the disc. pss. What the IndyCar situation? Probably my next buy..

you can find the no-cdrom utility at http://home.sol.no/tornygre/util1.htm Try it. It works for me Gary

If you run NASCAR2.exe (instead of N2.bat), or comment out the line in N2.bat that starts with SMACKPLY, you can run N2 without getting the A/F/R/I error... (That line is for playing the intro movie, which is on the CD...) ---Jim Sokoloff
