I have encountered some serious problem with NFS2, which I purchased
recently. When starting the game, I guess it should have a introductory
video, but all I get is a first frame of that, and the next thing I get is
the main menu. I get no sound, and when I try to click on "RACE", my
computer hangs completely.
My hardware:
P200 with 32Mb of RAM (Advanced/ML board, BIOS version 1.00.08DB0)
Matrox Millennium with 4Mb/220MHz RAMDAC (have tried driver versions 3.41
and 3.62, have BIOS version 2.5 installed)
Sound Blaster AWE32 PnP (driver version 2.3)
DirectX3 is installed.
Any suggestions to remedy the situation?
