Problem #1: Does anyone know how to configure a gamepad/joystick? I
want to set the gamepad up/down to shift gears so I don't have to use
auto-shifting.
Problem #2: Why does the GP mode have such a screwed up status display
while racing? A huge "clear" block on the bottom of the screen, no
tachometer, they are even wasting screen real estate of #&*^$
ADVERTISING, which I really do NOT appreciate! The arcade mode status
display works fine - how do I use it in GP mode?
Problem #3: Am I the only one that thinks this game feels like a beta
release? It's not just buggy, it's unfinished - like missing basic
game features like saving options to disk. Many other bugs/omissions
have been mentioned here. I don't mind the arcadish gameplay - I
expected that - but Psygnosic really needs to address the numerous
bugs and missing features in this game.

You're right. It sucks. Best solution to problems #1, #2, and #3? Take it
back. Maybe companies will learn not to release crap. Pretty crap, but
still crap.

At first, i hated this game. Due to the reasons outlined previously,
i was mad! I played on anyway, WOW! This game rules. It gets
better, way better. I even think the lack of control is an
enhancement (controls configuration that is)
ok, this game has a different, not better, just different driving
model than GP2. So , if you were used to GP2, you will really hate
this game at first (nothing compares to GP2's sounds and controls).
But this games superior graphics and frame rate, along with the
ability to realisticly recover from slides, turning the head in a
spin instead of looking straigt down the nose make this game kick ass
over GP2. Dont forget about the cool way the car hits the rumble
strips!
Besides the sound, the biggest problem with F1 is the lack of
realistic crashes. Cant wait for them to finish this game. oh yea,
its already released. What a bunch of dweebs! ok, maybe they were
understaffed.
