Toca Race Driver 2 - Post Patch Cheat Code Generator?

I've heard that the TRD2 1.1 patch will wipe out any saved cheat codes, and changes your initial bonus code, so that you old cheats won't work any longer!!! Worse yet... The cheat code generator that's been available apparently no longer works with TRD2 post-patch!!! I ordered this game over the net and am waiting for it to arrive, but if these things are true then I'm going to be quite bummed out :-( Can anyone elaborate on this, does your bonus code change? Will the cheat code generator no longer work? Thanks in advance!

Though I play TRD2 less and less, in favor of Rallisport, I did patch the game and found it did not erase the check codes. Fact is, I not only patched the game but uninstalled and reinstalled and then patched, making sure to select the option to save any player saves before uninstall. Even then, the codes were still in there. Alanb

Well.... The copy of Toca Race Driver 2 that I ordered a few weeks ago finally arrived. I installed it, and successfully got the cheat code generator to work, so I started off working towards the championship. However... As I feared... I ran the 1.12 patch an OH NO!!!! My player profile is GONE!!!! :-( Arrgh... So... I created a new player profile but now the cheat codes I wrote down from the cheat code generator no longer work, crap!!!! So I uninstalled the game, saving player info, reinstalled and whew... My profile is back as are the cheat codes but I'm running the un-patched version.
