With July just around the corner, the NRO is *supposed* to be here soon
(VERY soon, we hope...). I'm just curious...with all the hype about NRO,
wouldn't Papyrus/Sierra/CUC/NASCAR want to have this thing out in the open to
attract drivers/teams? I mean, I've seen the 2-page ads for N2 in Circle
Track/Stock Car Racing, with only a *SMALL* NRO logo in the corner. I would
think that to get people to *pay* to race a REAL NASCAR division, that maybe
they would have been advertising on ESPN/TNN/CBS/ABC/TBS during race
broadcasts to at least let people know it was coming.
Any thoughts on this....?

I would think that first impressions are an important consideration in any
marketing campaign. NROS is an untested intangible at the present time so
why hype it?. There is little to be gained by promoting something that
may or may not happen down the road. Concentrate the marketing on the
core product which is N2, as that will lead to Sim Racers seeking ways to
compete against their peers.
From what I've seen, the people at TEN are top notch and doing everything
possible to start up the NROS on time. It will be fun when it happens, I
am eagerly looking forward to it!
