Rendition verite boards

Can anyone tell me what video boards support Rendition verite. What kind of performance and visual improvements does it provide- is it worth buying? Kirk

I just bought Sierra's Screamin' 3D board. For 3D acceleration it has been very good for me. Quake, NASCAR 2 and Indy Car 2 are all very very nice with the Rendition versions. The excellent frame rates, and wonderfully detailed scenes are very much worth the price. Ok, so now the downside: Windows & 2D performance is not as great as I am used to. However, I am spoiled. My previous graphics board was the Hercules Graphite Terminator Pro. That is a hell of a card with tremendous performance for standard Windows and 2D applications. If you don't have anything that snappy for your current card, the Rendition card will probably seem very good. -- Steve Martin "Do or do not, there is no try." - Yoda, "Empire Strikes Back"

I've been very happy with my Rendition Verite.. as far as I know it goes by a different title these days. I haven't had a chance to check out the Mystique, 3DFx, etc.. but the Rendition card has been great. No complaints, as a matter of fact I can't imagine playing ICR2 without it, not to mention Quake. For the specs check out Intergraph's main site, I seem to have misplaced the URL, but it's easy to find. well worth the investment in my opinion Raevyn Together w/ Style HTML Racing/ Monkey 97

Only prob is that I think its Intergraph who have dumped the rendition/verit e chipset for the 3dfx/voodoo or voodoo/rush. Anyone got more up to date stuff on this? -- Phillip Cunningham Use this address if u want to contact me [header is anti-spammed] >>>Can anyone tell me what video boards support Rendition verite.
