A friend (Jim Russell) and I were praticing for our upcoming series race at
"The Rock". We go through qualifying. We look at the standings page to make
sure we're sitting where we qualified. I qualify on the pole; he qualifies
37th. We go into race. I hit F2 to show my standings RIGHT AFTER going into
the race, and now the standings show me in 2nd, and Jim in first, but a lap up
on the field! I am still right behind the pace car, in the pole position, and
Jim is 37th position on the track, but standings STILL show him first.. His
spotter tells him to "Stay behind the 81 car...", which is the correct
position, but the standings still show him in first. We come around for the
green, and he gets black flagged for passing under the yellow, but he didn't
pass anyone; he dropped back to get in the right spot!
Can anyone tell us what the problem is? Neither one of us had the problem
in our series race last week. We both have both patches installed.
