NASNET The true story ( PLEASE READ)

5 posts by 4 people · 15 Jun 1997 - 10 Jul 1997

Some of you may not want to hear this as I am getting tired of this thread as well but I have to say this.. NASNET was a good idea when it started but as it grew Alex S. became power hungry. I don't think he knew it was happening.. It was one of those thing that snuck up on him.. As of late he would come into the chat room and say "I AM GOD." This was mostly because he made Daytona.. He posted it on a pssword protected site then gave the password to NASNET member sites. He gained a lot of praise from this.. That is why he felt e could take over the Nascar2 community. He and Chris Shearburn then focused on the NasNet league for NROS. During qualifying Chris changed the rules many times.. He was having trouble in qualifying and I believe he made these rule changes to better his position in the standings. All the while this was happening Alex S. did nothing, even after many complaints.. In short NASNET is no longer.. I recieved an email Alex sent to Jay Fritts and others explaining that he was tired of putting up with people ( The truth in my opinion) and was going to take NASNET down.. Chris quit as Director of the league and NASNET is slowly being dismantled. It won't be long till it is gone forever. Some of you may like this some may not. I personally don't care whether it stays or goes. I just felt obligated to tell you all what has really been going on and hopefully end this thread.. By the way Eric T. Bush is not and never was a part of NASNET.. I think he does this group good in answering our questions so Please leave him out of this. Hey, I don't care about NASCARNET Power really, but what anoys me is it's stuff they do illigally only between them. Like giving off a perfect version of DAYTONA!? I don't think so. All you people who are revolting against NASNET, I will start a server for NASCARNET Hatrid and we will compeat. To qualify, you must have a page on the net. This side wont do secrets and what we get is what you get, the old good days of the net. Mark

I think all of you people ***ing about Nasnet are full of shit!!! There are a few members that are ***s but that doesn't make it right for you all to go around saying how bad it is. I DID get Daytona off of Nasnet but it was before Pap. started to shut some of the pages down. I think Nasnet is still awsome and all of you that are out there whining and complaining about it can kiss my and Nasnet's ass. I know that most of you dipshit whiners have used Nasnet a lot and would barely have anything if it weren't for them. Now that you have read this Lay THE *** OFF OF THEM they have done a lot for me and most of you so shut the *** up and if you don't like them don't ***ING USE THEM!!!!!!!! If you still think they are that bad have fun tring to start a site against them. Im sure it will be no loss for them.

I think if I was serirously involved with NASNET, you would be the last person I would want representing it. With unself control like you've shown with the choosen words of your post you are either a total spastic geek or twelve years old. Leave the representation of entities like NASNET to the ***s. Read and learn how to post letters in a respectful manner or your sig will only be added to that David Gary guy's infamous moron list. -Davo-
