Horizontal blips at Indy in rendition ICR2

2 posts by 2 people · 14 Jun 1997 - 16 Jun 1997

Hello, I've been seeing occasional horizontal blips in the rendition ICR2. The problem is most noticable on the converted Indy track. The blips appear as horizontal streaks that shoot all the way across the monitor and then disappear. But this happens frequently enough to be annoying. I've also noticed a few streaks at the enhanced Laguna track but it's not near as bad as Indy. The other tracks that I've looked at don't seem to have this problem. I've also noticed that the texture on the non enhanced tracks has a slight greenish shade to it although the rest of the colors look fine. I have a Pentium 133 with 32MB of ram, a Screamin 3D, and the OSR release of Win 95. I'm also running the game in DMA mode (indyfast). Any info you have would be appreciated. Thanks Rick

This is an effect of anti-aliasing. You can see it on all tracks with no sky at the line between horizon and sky. Turn anti-aliasing off (Alt+A) or add sky! Klaus Hoerbrand
