Giant UFO at the Brickyard

Sometimes when I race the converted Indy for N2, a huge borg-like ship hovers over the track for the entire race. Does anyone know what it is?

Sounds like either: A) you converted Wing Commander for N2 instead, or B) it's the IVGA, come to collect your setups, or C) it's the IRS, checking to see what these mysterious "$500 per month for Hawaii" bills are all about, or D) it's I-76, not N2, in which case you've been in front of your computer for too long! :) God Bless, Steve

Maybe it is the Borg collective trying to assimilate your computer.Have you tried hailing it? Does it respond withthe ole "resistance is futile" thing ? I've seen it, too. It only shows up on cloudy days. I think it may have something to do with no "cloudy" sky being in the .dat file(?). As to just exactly what's being drawn? I haven't a clue! Jerry Morelock

> Sometimes when I race the converted Indy for N2, a huge borg-like ship > hovers over the track for the entire race. > Does anyone know what it is? i don't think that anyone has addressed this seriously, but the funny red white and black graphics that show up as the sky at indy seems to me to be when the race weather is set to random and it is cloudy at the track. You will notice that on sunny days it is not there. I have been trying to figure out the problem, just haven't gotten around to trying alot of different things to get rid of it.
