No more newsgroup boycott. As a matter of fact....

Hello all, Yes, I made the original post stating that I was boycotting this group until the ICR2>N2 thing faded away. But then I began thinking about it some more, and realized that perhaps the author of this converter was on to something. Since he worked so long and *** the code for this program, and as a result should, as many denizens of this newsgroup pointed out, be paid for his effort, as the program has no copyright issues, then...(whew!) why not do the same thing and charge for something that I've worked long, hard, and diligently on? Here's the deal: guaranteed winners (for Nascar2). You know, set-ups. Here's my price list: Talladega: $12.95 US 8 pounds UK Sears Point: $18.95 US 11 pounds UK N. Wilkesboro: $2.00 US 1 pound UK C***te (night AND day...a real bargain!!) $15.95 US 10 pounds UK I'll post the prices for the rest later. In the meantime, since I'm expecting an avalanche of orders, do the best you can on your own with the other tracks. Regards, Ben "I was tryin' to think, but nuthin' happened!" --Curly Joe
<snip> You could have saved a LOT of bandwidth if you'd just sent this. It's the perfect encapsulation of your entire message, AND your original thoughts on "boycotting" the newsgroup. BTW, please do. Bart Brown

An avalanche of orders? At the prices you quote, and considering you're an "unknown" in the multiplayer ranks, I doubt you'll get anything but flames from your post. Good luck, you'll need it. Best Regards, Marc J. Nelson The Sim Project

>Ben I think it's time for check in to the Betty Ford Clinic because you >would definately have to be drunk to do something like this..... I think you could also argue that you'd have to be drunk not to see it's a joke ... you were fooled and it's not even April 1! ;-) Joe
