My GP2 game crashes 2 times out of 3 everytime I hit the "escape key"
during the intro and in the pits.
It also crashes when I use the "space bar" trying to go in the car setup
while in the pits.
I whould like a reply. Thanks.
It helps if you give a bit more info, like what your set-up is, whether
your using keys, wheel, joystick, etc, whether you are using any
utilities/editors, etc, whether you are in dos, win 3.1, win 95, etc?
Has it always done this? or just recently started doing it?
If it doesn't happen every time, it sounds like a conflict with some
other peice of hardware or software which you are not always using?
Why do you want to use the escape key in the pits? don't use it.
Install the nocdrom.zip utility (widely available on gp2 related web
sites), so you do not have to use the cd, then you do not have the
intro, so it shouldn't crash?
Not sure about this one? sounds like another conflict of some sort?
Which sound/graphics cards are you using? have you installed any patches
for them? (for the latest drivers)

I had the same problem when using a mystique video card. The patch
available at the matrox site reduced the occurrences though.
