Free N2 converter crashed my N2!?

Matthew, Another version of the converter was put onto my web site today (1800h BST) . Are you running Rendition or not?. Dave Noonan

Delighted with the news of more road courses for N2, I downloaded the Free converter, and converted. First, I didn`t even have time to get to the kitchen before the conversions were done. Secondly, when I try to start N2, it loads the Papyrus screen, then there`s a long Dos message, ending in something like "page granular limit, crash adress unrelocated", something with 32 in it, not enough memory etc. I tried removing the new tracks, and deleting the converted tracks, but the same thing happens. I am running a 120 mhz 16 Pentium, and have the first patch working. Help, anyone, please? If it works, I am the first to admit it; I`ll buy it! Matthew, Norway.

Check to make sure there isn't an empty directory in tracks...No dat, no go. Marc

Thanks, Dave. I am not running rendition, however I had previously installed a patch for new track logos that did not work. That also caused me some problems in multiplayer mode. I tried deleting the new calendar file, removed the new tracks, reinstalled ICR2, copied the tracks and converted one - and the game started, but it crashed as soon as I got to the calendar screen. I`ll try the new converter. Matt.
