For anyone interested, a patch is now available on the
Europress Web site, that adds graduated acceleration
and braking when using joysticks.

There does not seem to be a patch to fix this in the X-Miles Version..??
I believe it does need fixing, any ideas of when it's planned?
There are also some problems with the X-Miles games in networked
play - one player ends up in the car repair section (??????!!!)
and the other just pauses until the repair section is exited.
This happens when you should normally be selection your car setup!
It's the bog standard UK X-Miles addon.
Has anyone else seen this? The network version worked fine
before the X-Miles upgrade.
