Power F1 - bad judgement call???

1 post by 1 person · 18 May 1997 - 18 May 1997

Hi, I was in a local software store a few weeks ago looking at some racing sims. When I saw some people going to buy a T2, Anyway, we all started talking, I told them my experiences with the T2, overall very positive, except for the accelerator spring problem. Anyway, we also talked about racing sims. They showed me the 2 games they were buying, GP2 and Power F1 and asked my opinion. I said GP2 was better (I also memtioned that I felt it was incomplete), but it's still the best F1 sim we have right now (I wonder if Starting Grid will change that???). I also mentioned that I thought I had heard bad things about Power F1, not very realistic driving, etc. (stuff I am 99% sure I read in the ng a few months back). Well, they put the game back and just got GP2, the sales guy a few feet over didn't seem too impressed! Was I right in my judgement of Power F1? This is more or less a conscance clearing question!
