OK, OK, NFS Underground 2 is hardly a 'sim', but sometimes one needs a break
from tweaking the anti-roll bars of the Brabham. Anyhoo, the EA site is:
http://www.eagames.com/official/nfs/underground2/us/features.jsp
Seems to be a bigger version of the original - more city areas, more cars,
more weather, presumably more babes. No mention of LAN play, which would be
great fun with friends who are not deep into the sim racing side of things,
and which was missing from the first version. (some hacks exist) The text
only mentions the PS2, but it's listed as coming for the PC too.
Going through the Garage screenshots, one can now do silly things like
install 15" woofers filling the back seat or hatch. Almost makes adding
underbody neon effects seem rational by comparision.
