A new sim from EA called Nascar 98 is on the way for the playstation
console. It has 24 licensed drivers & 11 of 17 tracks are the real deal
including Darlington and Searspoint. Nas 98 also has weather effects,car
setup, 2player split screen action & cars gettin airborn.----- mack

Help me somone... We will have real driver's helmets and face like
NHL97. And I hope it's more realistic than Andretti Racing. Hmmmm....
..... Thinking of it, I hope the game will be crap. I'm an avid
Papyrus fan and i hope that EA will slap themselves with a large trout
(copyright InternetRelayChat !). I hope it's arcade type game 'cause
with only 11 tracks I don't how they will do a good simulation game.
Also, with 2player split, I think it's going to be a console game. I
don't see 2 wheel/pedal unit lokking on the same screen. Imagine the
fps :-( . Great life to Papyrus!. And I hope they will not be Daytone
in EA's NASCAR game. My canadian 2,

I found the info on Nascar 98 in the mag called EGM in the sports section.
Try www.ea.com -- dont know for sure if any info is up yet ,but it will be
when the E3 in Atlanta happens real soon. EGM June issue.--mack

I just read a cover article in Sim Racing, or Strategy Plus, or one-a
them thar mags that was sitting in the rack at EB. (I was waiting in
the check out line)
The article indicated that the game would be based on the Andretti game
engine, and lean more toward arcade action, and use a 24-car field.

finish/win, not getting airborne. I've never missed that in the Papyrus
sims, because if I get airborne, I'm probably not going to see the
checkered flag.
All i was saying is it has flipping cars during wrecks not just fenders
bending. If i ever race you Mark in the air is where you'll be. The
