I upgraded(??) N2 last night with the correct patch. While racing at
Bristol today (quick race) on about the third lap on the front
straight it appears as though I drove into either the stands or into
the infield. I'm not sure which. While in the "nether land" I saw
plenty'o geometric shapes. I could still hear the opponent cars. I
eventually gave it some gas, somehow got back onto the track, and went
to the end of the yellow lap. Coming around turn four and into the
front straight, it's off into the void again!! If I manage to keep
the car straight I will drive through the shapes and reach turn two,
where everything is normal again, until I hit the front straight
again.
Never experienced this behavior w/o the patch. Anyone have any idea
what might be going on? (is it really the game, might it be my
system?).
