Has anyone else noticed after the "patch" that the date format now
reads for example a race on April 27, 1996 used to be 4/27/96 and now
reads 27/4/96 ? Is there a reason this was changed or is this a "patch
bug"?
Ron
Yaaaaay! European date formats, right on Papyrus! :)
Ahh Man
Now we have to drive on the wrong side of the track......
Hey does anyone know what exactly this patch is supposed to do?

Ron,
I have been trying to fix this problem over the last 24 hrs and I am not
getting anywhere at the moment. If I can fix it, or get Sierra to tell
me how to fix it I will post it on my page.

The date back to front is normal for us fallas over here in
New Zealand. It is (day-month-year) for us. So I like and
don't be rude to me.

Yeah it suits me fine too Bruce hahahaha
Todd.
I did not know the object of N2 was to sit in front of the computer and
read the date. Thanks for letting us know.

Typical Sierra!!Lol, I thought the date thing may have been caused by my editing of
the calendar file or something similar. I've become fairly skilled at
messing things up such as this. I can live with this now that I know
its not just me. Sort of like the "metric" system. Just something to
get used to.

Well, I guess the cat is out of the bag; Papyrus has moved to Belgium.
Actually, it looks like the internationalization code got included in the
patch build. Opps ... we're aware of it back at Papyrus (still in MA) ...
Charlie Heath / Papyrus
Well, the good 'ol US of A is still using the antiqated non-metric system,
because
we have found it too hard to do the conversion, for some odd reason or
another. :)
So, us Americans are the ones complaining about it, unfortunately.

Chas, get with the majority of the world and change all your dates to the
international (dd/mm/yy) format! :-)

dates, but then some dates are skipped and others are repeated. I assume
it's b/c the games can't handle a 'month' greater than 12.

Your welcome, smarta$$. I do know that some people's purpose in
life is to sit in front of a computer and find fault in another
person's opinions and problems. FYI, I was actually just pointing
something out that had changed after the "patch" while not being
critical at all of the fact. It really has no effect to me whatsoever
as far as how the date reads other than the fact that I spent a couple
hours toying with my calendar file, ect... thinking I had caused the
problem at my end.
P.S./ Flame me and you get one back. Now be careful with that lighter
or you just might get burnt.
