Is anyone else having this problem? When I try to run Need For Speed 2,
the game tells me I must have the CD in the drive - but the CD is there!
I believe the problem is caused from the fact that my CD drive is set as
drive Z:. If I set it to, say, R:, the game runs fine. The only other
game I have that had this anti-Z: problem was the install program for Dark
Forces, which was fixed using the INSTALL -XZ command.
Changing my CD-ROM drive to a lower letter is fine for getting the game to
run, but then I must reinstall most of my other CD programs or else they
won't know where the cdrom drive is.
