has anyone seen this? I was running under yellow in Vancouver, following
the pace car into a turn. all of a sudden BOOM! my car hits the wall, then
the opposite wall and I'm like in front of the pace car in a split second.
I was travelling like 40mph before it happened. The same thing happened at
Michigan a while ago, racing into the turn my car suddenly warps into the
wall and there's disaster all over the place. I saved the vancouver one
though.

Patches don't fix this. I just had it happen to me at Michigan. I was
under two cars in 4, warped to the start/finish line, warped back to where
I was originally and went into the pit wall at 200 mph. Pieces
everywhere.
It doesn't happen very often, but DOES happen in Single player. I've
never had it happen over the modem. At least not HOG, it does normal
warping over the modem.

You have been graced by what is now known as the "HOG" (Hand of God bug).
Thanks to many people sending in replays where the HOG struck, Papyrus
finally found the culprits and removed it from NASCAR2 (and maybe the
latest version of Hawaii). However, it still exists in ICR2 & NASCAR
(was it ever present in ICR1?).

I had something even weirder happen at Road America. I was coming out of
Canada Corner, when all of a sudden, I am not on the road for one frame.
I get back to the road, lose it, and crash. From the replays, it looks
like I went up in the air to about the same height as the blimp for a
second! Weird.

Happened in N1 too, but great footage of Ted Musgrave destroying a few
cars. It only happened to him. Also went under the grandstands at the
old front straight at Darlington too!!! Why it happened to him and not
me, I don't know.
