Basically either it works or it doesn't. If it's not working for you, unfortunately there isn't really much you can do about it. -- >i have win95 and nascar1, but i can't get it to run without rebooting in >dos mode. does anyone know if running it without rebooting is possible, if

I had Nascar 1 Running great in a dos window when I had It. Many of my friends had it going too, But it chopped worse than usual. I Do not remember the settings but try messing around with the Pif shortcut. Or E-mail Sierra\Papyrus, they use to have a FAQ at onetime on this issue. Best bet though... Run that old dog in the back yard. Run it in dos. : i have win95 and nascar1, but i can't get it to run without rebooting in : dos mode. does anyone know if running it without rebooting is possible, if It might depend on how much memory your machine has. Since Win95 will need some memory of its own, there may not be enough to "share" with N1. Try setting the Memory properties of your *.pif to have everything Auto and check the Use HMA box under the Extended Memory area. You also want the Screen Properties to be Full Screen. Also try setting the Command Line in the *pif to run command.com (c:\windows\command.com) instead of the batch file to run N1. Then run N1 from the DOS prompt. -- **************************** Michael E.
