Question: I have tried literally every Taladega
setup on the net, and am
194-196" laps, but I cannot seem to get them to do that. I seem to
lose a
lot of speed in the corners, dropping down into the mid 180's or so...Could
someone please help out with some taladega advice? How do you get
more
speed in the corners?

I've also used the setups on the net but have the best luck with
the "ace" set up that came with the game.My best lap speed is 195.5 so
far and come off the corners around 190-192.If you dont have "ace" setup
email me and I'll send it to you.Good luck!

I currently have a setup that'll run 196.5+ Haven't been able to
break 197 as of yet but I did get this setup off the net. Just cant
remember where, anyway the point is get every setup you can find till
you find one that works for you. There are some really good ones out
there. I think i may have gotten that setup at The Pits but dont hold
me to it.
Are you running in the draft or by yourself? It does make somewhat of
a differrence.

What temperature (weather) are you at? Most setups on the net are
designrd for 120 degrees. Set 4th gear to 3.5. Play around with your
rear bias setting. Max your shocks and tire pressures. Do that and work
on your line and you should be able to do at least 195-196 easy.
Bear in mind, this advice, and probably all the setups you'll find, are
designed for Multi. If your running the regular Nascar.exe yur speeds
will be lower.
I f you run away, follow the faster cars around and see what line they
are running.

I think i may have gotten that setup at The Pits but dont hold > me to it.Turn off steering help on the options screen. I tried every setup
under the sun and was going crazy, Then I found the steering help
turned on. Turned it off and now can run high 195's to low 196's and
in the draft 197's.. Hope this helps..
What type controller are you using? Listen to the tires. You should be able
to go flat out with very little or no tire squeal.

off Steering and Braking help, stay flat out never lift, keep tire squeal
to a minimum. You should hit 195 by lap 5 or 6.

My best is 198.078 w/
drafting at 106% opp.
sometimes ya gotta turn right to go left....try it watch your lap speeds
climb....an try looking farther down the track.
