N2 modem play

Me and a friend have just started to race each other over modem in N2. This is really great! We have one big problem though: We never get our names right in the game. Ive read a N2 FAQ that said that the caller should have the answerers name at the top of his multi-list and the answerer should have his own name on top of his list. We get our cars right, but we both are called the name of the answerer! How do we get by this? Its quite annoying breaking a track record only to see it get registrered in my opponents name!

I experienced this same problem. You, as the dialer, have to type in your name on the first car, which would actually be your opponents car. It makes no difference what the second name is on your list. Don't ask me why but that's what you'll need to do to fix it.

The caller should have his name on the list twice. Put your name where your friends is if you are the caller. The person who answers should have both names. It works for me.
